We Inspect, Test and Maintain backflow preventer devices. We don’t have lives outside of our profession.

Inspection

Backflow preventer testing all starts with staring at the device for a minute. Then we shake off the awe of their brass majesty and make sure that nothing is leaking, there is proper clearance around the device and that the device is correct for the hazards it protects.

Testing

We attach hoses and a sciencey looking gauge to the backflow preventer to simulate if the device stops water from moving backward into the yummy tasting tap water we have all grown up to love.

Maintenance

Lots of things happen in the maze of pipes that live under your street. Every so often a tiny boulder will find its way into the pipe figure the best place to settle down is exactly where the check valve is supposed to close. So it takes our very special skills to surgically remove the stone, clean, grease up, or replace the rubber vitals that make the backflow work.
